Job Description

Salary: $91,800 - 137,600 per year Requirements:

• We require a Bachelors degree in a STEM discipline and 2 years of related engineering experience, or a Masters degree in a STEM discipline with entry-level related engineering experience.
• We require experience across the full software development life cycle (SDLC).
• We require experience with Agile software development, software integration, and testing.
• We require experience programming and scripting in Java, C, C++, and Python.
• We require experience with two of the following tools: Jira, GitLab, Docker, Fortify, Coverity, or Black Duck.
• We require an active U.S. Government Top Secret clearance with a background investigation completed within the past 5 years or enrollment in Continuous Evaluation.
• We require the ability to obtain and maintain initial Special Access Program (SAP) access through a Program Access Request (PAR) before starting employment.
• We require the ability to obtain and maintain additional SAP PARs after hire to fully support the statement of work.
• Preferred: we value experience documenting, capturing, and presenting software architectural components using modeling or diagramming tools.
• Preferred: current applicable Special Access Program (SAP) access is a plus.

• We collaborate with Systems Engineering, Cloud & Application, Test Automation, DevSecOps, and Systems Test teams in an Agile software development environment.
• We participate in the software development cycle, including prototype and graphical user interface design, implementation, and build/test/release delivery.
• We work with object-oriented programming, design patterns, JMS, web services, XML, and related technologies such as XPath, XSLT, and XSD.
• We develop enterprise solutions for Java Enterprise Edition (JEE) in a service-oriented architecture (SOA) environment.
• We operate within a process-oriented software development environment across the full software lifecycle.
• We partner regularly with team members and contribute in collaborative, cross-functional settings.
• We work full-time on site at our San Diego, CA facility; no remote, hybrid, or telework option is available.
• We may occasionally travel up to 10% of the time.
